The quiet work that keeps everything else small
Most of what goes wrong in a mouth is small, quiet, and cheap to fix, right up until it is not. Good preventive care catches things in the small-and-quiet stage. That is the whole point of coming in.

Careful, comfortable general & preventive

What an hour with us covers
Rosa leads our hygiene visits, and she is not fast. She clears the plaque and hardened tartar that home brushing cannot reach, polishes away the stains coffee and red wine leave behind, and measures the health of your gums tooth by tooth. Then Dr. Marchetti reviews your digital x-rays with you on the screen, checks every tooth and old filling, and does a quick oral-cancer screening.
If everything looks healthy, we tell you so and send you back into your day. If something needs attention, you see exactly what we see, hear the options in plain words, and get honest guidance on what is urgent, what can wait, and what it will cost. Nobody here works on commission, so the only care we recommend is care you actually need.
Why the rhythm matters more than the rule
Twice a year is a fine starting point, not a law. If your gums are healthy and your risk is low, we may leave you on a six-month rhythm for years. If you have a history of gum trouble, we may suggest a three or four month interval, because the bacteria that drive it return within about ninety days of a cleaning. We set your recall around your own mouth and book the next visit before you leave, so it never quietly slips off the calendar.
What an unhurried cleaning actually lifts
Home brushing clears the soft plaque you can reach. What it cannot touch is the hardened tartar and the surface stain that coffee, tea, and time leave behind. That is the part a hygiene visit is for.

Two rhythms, one honest choice
Twice a year is a sensible default, not a law. Here is how we decide, with you, whether your mouth wants the standard rhythm or a slightly closer one.
| What we weigh | Six-month recall | Three or four month recall |
|---|---|---|
| Who it suits | Healthy gums, low risk, steady home care | A history of gum trouble, diabetes, heavy tartar, or pregnancy |
| What it heads off | Small cavities and early inflammation, caught while cheap to fix | Bacteria regaining a foothold between visits |
| What it asks of you | Two unhurried visits across the year | A short, gentle visit each season |
| How we set it | We measure your gums, look at your history, and agree it together | We revisit it every year and ease off the moment your mouth allows |
We never work on commission, so the only rhythm we suggest is the one your mouth actually needs.
