When we opened, I did not imagine we would one day design our own dental plan. But year after year I watched people I liked put off care they clearly needed for one reason: they had lost their coverage. Eventually that was a problem worth solving ourselves.

The gap we kept seeing

The self-employed, folks between jobs, early retirees, anyone whose employer dropped dental: they were all in the same bind. Not broke, just uninsured, and quietly deciding a cleaning was a luxury they would get to later. Later has a way of becoming an emergency.

Insurance was not the answer for them

Individual dental insurance is often a poor deal, with waiting periods, low annual maximums, and a claims process that wears people down. For someone paying out of pocket, it frequently costs more than it ever pays back. I could not in good conscience send people toward it.

Questions patients ask me first
No. A discount card is a third party that sells you a coupon and takes a cut. Our plan is offered directly by the practice, with no company in the middle. You pay us, your preventive care is covered here, and everything else is discounted here.
If you need care we do not provide in-house, such as certain gum or root surgeries, we refer you to a trusted specialist and share your records. The plan covers the preventive care and treatment we do here; a specialist sets their own fees, and we help you understand them before you go.
Yes. Each person has their own plan sized to what they need, an adult plan, a child plan, or a perio plan, and we are glad to sit down and work out the family total with you before you decide anything.

So we built something simpler

A flat monthly fee that fully covers your preventive care, with a clear percentage off everything else, quoted before we start. No claim forms, no deductible, no annual maximum, and no insurance company in the middle deciding what your dentist may do. Just a direct, honest arrangement between us and you.

It did what we hoped

People came back. Cleanings that had been postponed for years happened again. Problems got caught small instead of becoming crowns and extractions. The plan pays for itself for most members on prevention alone, and it keeps our neighbors in the chair, which was the entire point.

Pays for itselfon prevention aloneFor most members, a year of covered cleanings, exams, and x-rays already costs more than the dues.

People without dental insurance: the self-employed, folks between jobs, early retirees, and anyone whose employer dropped dental. If you have been skipping care because your coverage lapsed, it was built for you.
For most members, the covered cleanings, exams, and x-rays alone add up to more than a year of dues, so it pays for itself on prevention. Any other treatment is then discounted on top of that.
None. Your benefits start the same day you join, and there is no annual maximum to run out of. Plans run twelve months and you can cancel before renewal with no penalty.
