When we opened, I did not imagine we would one day design our own dental plan. But year after year I watched people I liked put off care they clearly needed for one reason: they had lost their coverage. Eventually that was a problem worth solving ourselves.
The gap we kept seeing
The self-employed, folks between jobs, early retirees, anyone whose employer dropped dental: they were all in the same bind. Not broke, just uninsured, and quietly deciding a cleaning was a luxury they would get to later. Later has a way of becoming an emergency.

Insurance was not the answer for them
Individual dental insurance is often a poor deal, with waiting periods, low annual maximums, and a claims process that wears people down. For someone paying out of pocket, it frequently costs more than it ever pays back. I could not in good conscience send people toward it.
So we built something simpler
A flat monthly fee that fully covers your preventive care, with a clear percentage off everything else, quoted before we start. No claim forms, no deductible, no annual maximum, and no insurance company in the middle deciding what your dentist may do. Just a direct, honest arrangement between us and you.
It did what we hoped
People came back. Cleanings that had been postponed for years happened again. Problems got caught small instead of becoming crowns and extractions. The plan pays for itself for most members on prevention alone, and it keeps our neighbors in the chair, which was the entire point.
